While you are in the chrome tab reading a webpage and if you need to search a keyword through the google search then you have to open a new tab, navigate to google website and search for the results to the keyword. After installing this extension you can see the extensions favicon on the top right corner of the browser. Just hit it, google search box popups, if you need any google search, type the keyword and hit search button. The results of the search are shown in the popup box itself.
This extension is useful for only viewing the google results. You can’t open the links in the new tab. If you click the link of the google results the page is shown in the extension box itself and you can not navigate back after the link page is opened.
